THE SECOND AMENDMENT 

I own guns for hunting, self-defense, and recreation. I will protect our Second Amendment rights by keeping the government out of our gun cases, keeping guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens, and keeping guns away from children, mentally ill individuals, and career felons.

LIFE 

Life is a gift from God and begins at conception. I will work to stop late-term abortions while also protecting the health of mothers, fighting for victims of rape and incest, and improving adoption programs. 

​

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

Keep drug cartel groups and illegal immigrants out of Anderson County and South Carolina. Catch and deport rather than catch and release. A safe and secure border is a safe and secure Anderson County. 

​

BUSINESSES 

I will fight for businesses, especially local small businesses and entrepreneurs, by cutting heavy taxes and senseless regulations. I will also work to bring more high-paying jobs to Anderson.

INFRASTRUCTURE 

For too long, infrastructure funds have been allocated to communities with special interests and political power, leaving communities like Anderson behind.  I will fight to secure funds for better roads, bridges, water, and broadband access in Anderson County.  I am tired of looking at crumbling roads, bridges, and potholes. I will fight for Anderson County to get the resources needed to fix these issues. All of this can be done without raising taxes.

EDUCATION 

I’m proud to be a product of public education and the son of a public educator. My children, nieces, and nephews attend public school, and I believe that quality public schools are worth fighting for, which is why I will fight to provide every child in Anderson and across the state with the best education possible.

I will work to provide schools with the funding they need while holding them accountable. 

​

I will fight to give parents a choice in where their child goes to school and give teachers the pay they deserve and the resources they need to provide students with a high-quality education. 

​

GOVERNMENT REFORM 

Politicians in Columbia are out of touch with everyday South Carolinians. I will fight for ethics reform, term limits, and transparency. I will hold all branches accountable to ensure they work for us, not themselves or any special interest group. I am not a politician, and I have spent most of my career holding the government accountable in our courts, and I will take that experience to Columbia.

VETERANS 

I am blessed to be the son of two veterans and have many friends and relatives who have also served. The men and women in our military exemplify the best of our country, which is why I will work to cut their taxes, improve their benefits, enhance the access and quality of their healthcare, and stand by their families. They fought for us, so we must fight for them.

LOW TAXES 

The state continues to take too much money while giving too little results. I will fight to keep hard-earned money out of the hands of career politicians and in the hands of hard-working individuals, middle-class families, senior citizens, and small businesses.

LAW ENFORCEMENT 

Anderson County is blessed to have brave, hard-working law enforcement officers and public safety personnel. I will work to provide them with the funding, resources, training, and support they need and deserve to keep our community safe. I will work to ensure we give good law enforcement officers the support and recognition they deserve while holding those who abuse power accountable. I will also work to strengthen the sentencing of violent, repeat offenders to ensure those who commit the crime do the time.

OUR LAND AND THE OUTDOORS 

As a lifelong outdoorsman, I will fight for common sense measures that preserve and protect our land and water while ensuring access for boaters, anglers, and hunters. Nobody knows the outdoors and is a better steward of the outdoors than outdoorsmen. The protection of game animals and game fish, as well as the protection of their habitats, is crucial to conservation. We are blessed in Anderson County to be able to harvest meat and fish from the land and water, and it's something we must preserve and pass down to our children and grandchildren.

I will also fight for our property rights by reforming eminent domain laws to prevent government entities and major corporations from taking land away from law-abiding citizens and taxpayers.
